Singer-songwriter Bill Knight once remarked that he wrote “songs for the Fallen, the battered, the bruised, but somehow hopeful.” The Capetonian troubadour takes Willim on a journey from Botswana to Durbanville to Rondebosch and back to the Barleycorn Music Club. He talks about his relationships with Rita and Richard Tait (Alma Café), Carl Raubenheimer, Roger Lucey and how he hanged with James Phillips in the 80s. They also talk about most of his albums, his new band Scarecrows In A Field, his dedicated folk venue The Cottage Club and what is means to be part of a folk music community.
